Julia graduated from The Boulder College of Massage Therapy in June 2012, where she studied various modalities and took classes in Shiatsu, Swedish, Prenatal and postpartum, Sports, and Spa massage, and took a special interest in medical massage doing internships at the Oncology department at foothills hospital, and at the Ronald McDonald house for sick children.
After graduating, Julia moved to Denver where she started her career working at both a spa and at Exempla Good Samaritan Hospital working in the pre/postnatal department and the Health and Healing outpatient department.
Julia moved back to Boulder 7 years ago to raise her daughter and be near her family where she has since done massage in her private practice.
Julia joined the team at Certified Hand Therapy in August 2020 to continue her education and experience in Medical Massage. She specializes in Deep Tissue work and tailors her sessions to meet each client's individual needs.

Phillip Whitley was born in Boulder, Colorado and has a passion for music with an extensive background in customer service and general management. In the past he has managed local restaurants and supervised retail departments at Whole Foods Market. He also has experience teaching piano/guitar lessons as a private teacher for children. In his free time he enjoys writing songs on the piano, guitar, and trumpet while also exploring new music to listen to.
